NudgeMate Privacy Policy

Overview
NudgeMate is a debt reminder app designed to help small business owners and tradespeople track and follow up on outstanding invoices. We are committed to protecting your privacy.
Data Stored Locally
NudgeMate stores all data locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers.
Data stored locally includes:
- Client names and contact details you enter
- Invoice amounts and due dates
- Reminder history
- Payment records
Phone Contacts
When you tap “Add Debt”, NudgeMate asks for read-only access to your phone contacts so it can suggest names, phone numbers and emails as you type — saving you from re-typing information you already have.
- Contacts are read on-device only.
- They are never copied into NudgeMate's database unless you explicitly select a contact when adding a debt.
- They are never uploaded to any server.
- You can deny this permission and the app will work normally — you'll just have to type contact details manually.
Data We Do Not Collect
We do not collect:
- Your location
- Device identifiers
- Usage analytics or crash reports
- The content of your SMS, WhatsApp or email messages
- Any data from contacts you do not explicitly select
In-App Purchases
NudgeMate Pro subscriptions are processed by Google Play or Apple App Store. We do not have access to your payment information. Subscription status is stored locally on your device.
Push Notifications
NudgeMate uses local notifications only. These are generated entirely on your device and do not involve any external servers or third-party services.
Data Deletion
You can delete all your data at any time using “Clear All Data” under Settings > Data, or by uninstalling the app. Either way, all locally stored data is permanently removed from your device.
Children's Privacy
NudgeMate is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
